February 26, 2016

This event in the Entrepreneur Committee of the CCFB will be about the sharing economy with our guest Julien Lafouge, General Manager of the French well-known Blablacar in Latin America, which has just entered the Brazilian market.
Come and enjoy this unique event on March the 9th!
The Sharing economy: an alternative to the classic economy in crisis:
Airbnb, Blablacar, Uber, Fiverr… the sharing economy represents a huge mix of startups and already grown up companies. As Airbnb, the reference for housing, which succeeded in entering a very closed hotel industry, many other firms are growing fast in their own markets. This includes Blablacar which transformed car sharing as a real kind of transport for people. The firm succeeded in fundraising 200 million dollars in 2015 and entered the Brazilian market.
These alternatives to classic solutions we used for many years, used the crisis we have been through, to seduce consumers thanks to low prices. The message is clear: consumers prefer cost efficiency, and are willing to change their habits for that.
Blablacar, the world leader of car sharing arrives in Brazil:
